Learning is fun and we’ll be highlighting this such thing at your library in our summer STEAM Lab series for youth. STEAM stands for science, technology, engineering, the arts, and math and they’re hands-on programming that allows youth to build critical thinking and reasoning skills in one of these subject areas. Our first session will run on Monday, June 24 from 4:30PM-5:15PM and designed for youth ages 8 and older at your Main Library. At this session, it’s all about the arts as we’ll explore and experiment with watercolors to create a colorful image. We’ll also throw in some science fun by using salt, lemons, and crayons to see how you can create different effects to your art and why. All materials will be supplied, just come ready to be a part of the STEAM fun!
