You are invited to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the beloved children’s title, “The Cat in The Hat” on March 12. As part of this celebration, Dr. Seuss Enterprises is reaching out to organizations that manage beloved landmarks to see if they can get as many statues as possible wearing the iconic red and white striped hat.
But that’s not all. Oh no. That is not all!
In addition to decorating the Storybook Capital of America’s sculptures in downtown in red and white, the National Center for Children’s Illustrated Literature (NCCIL) will offer a free Dr. Seuss inspired art activity from 10 am to 1 pm March 12.
