Aimed at the homeschooling community in the Abilene area, Art Smarts is a great program designed for tweens and teens with an interest in the arts at your Main Library. For this month, we’ll be talking about Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama and the hallucinations she had that inspired her particular form of art covering everything in polka dots. Afterwards, we’ll get hands-on with our own art project by making our own version of the artist's famed pumpkin using polka dots. All supplies will be provided, so come out and get artsy with your library.
