Journey down the dusty red carpet trail, get up close and personal with one of the west’s largest mammals, and soak in the rugged western frontier while savoring hearty bites and bold cocktails. An unforgettable night showcasing the Zoo’s future transformation that will forever impact the Big Country community will culminate in a live fundraising paddle-raise to support this vital effort. As the sun dips behind the sparkling lake, kick up your boots and let loose with live music and dancing beneath the stars. Tickets are $200.

Abilene’s wildest concert of the year is back! Rock and Roar presented by Bontke Brothers and Black Plumbing will be Friday, September 8th featuring headliner Pecos and the Rooftops.

Rock and Roar will feature up-close animal encounters, mouth-watering eats, refreshing cocktails, and three popular Texas artists including Pecos and the Rooftops, The Droptines, and one final band to be announced next week. Gates will open for Rock and Roar at 5:00 p.m. with the first performance starting at 5:30 p.m.

Rock and Roar tickets start at just $35 for general admission adults and $17 for children under 17, with premium and VIP experiences also available. Kids 2 and under are free. Zoo members receive an exclusive $5 discount on all ticket levels.
