The musical follows Tina’s journey to becoming a superstar coupled with her experience with marital abuse and eventual divorce from her long-time partner and husband Ike Turner. The musical beautifully showcases her knack for overcoming obstacles, a talent that came in handy to help her become a solo rock 'n’ roll star.
