The Abilene Creative Arts Club, one of the oldest organizations in the city at 91 years, announces EXPERIENCE THE JOY, their Annual Member Exhibition, a juried show, which opens Thursday, April 18, at 1117 Walnut Studios & Gallery, 1117 Walnut Street in Abilene. An Awards Reception beginning at 6 p.m. features Abilene's renowned art expert, Judy Deaton, who will award prizes and speak at the Reception. The artists and Ms. Deaton will be on hand to describe the joys and challenges of the painting experience. The public is cordially invited to attend.
