Event Description: Walk the red carpet, get nose-to-nose during an animal encounter, and savor ferocious food and indulgent cocktails while exploring a South African wildlife tour.

Christmas Celebration powered by Reliant at Abilene Zoo is the event of the season! With thousands of twinkling lights, appearances from Santa, Mrs. Claus and more, and a variety of activities for the whole family, Christmas Celebration is something you won't want to miss!
People will have the opportunity to decorate Christmas cookies as well as build toys in Santa's toy shop. There are a variety of themed lights across the entire zoo that have been strategically put up by the staff. Out on the water, they will have what's called a Dancing Tree, which is a light show in the shape of a tree that moves to specific Christmas music.

Wild Days returns to the Abilene Zoo for Spring Break, March 12-20. A WILD event, featuring an all-new interactive show with our Animal Ambassadors. Plus you get a chance to meet and chat with our dedicated Animal Care Specialist during daily Keeper Chats. This event is included in daily admission and included in all Zoo Membership levels.
