The 35th anniversary of The Nutcracker ushers in the holiday season in Abilene as if a dream. Perhaps it is all a dream for Clara, who receives a magical Nutcracker at her family's Christmas party and is transported into another world. Following a battle between scurrying mice, soldiers and her Nutcracker hero in her living room under a giant Christmas tree, Clara is transported through a snowy forest to the Land of the Sweets, where she is greeted by dancing characters from all over the world.
