The Abilene Opera Association is presenting the beautiful Christmas portion of Handel’s beloved “Messiah” on television this year. APO is pre-recording a live performance that will be televised on KTXS (ABC) at 7 pm Dec. 10 and on KXVA FOX 15 at 9 p.m. Dec. 11.

Abilene Philharmonic’s David Itkin will again be conducting the Abilene Chamber Singers and an orchestra comprised of some of the best Texas musicians. Adding to the excitement is APO will be showcasing its Neupert harpsichord, a double-manual, artist-grande instrument.
