Abilene Ballet Theatre’s fundraiser event “Sugar Plum Fairy Tea” at the Woman’s Club November 12 & 13.

The Sugar Plum Fairy Tea is a magical afternoon for moms, daughters, granddaughters, aunts...and maybe even dads! It is the major fundraiser for Abilene Ballet Theatre and helps to provide scholarships for our dancers to attend summer intensive programs all across the country.

Always a sold-out event, the Tea gives the audience a glimpse into The Nutcracker, as main characters take the stage and give a preview performance.Children can also take part in a mock Nutcracker audition to see what the audition process is like. Afterward, characters mingle with the audience for autographs and photos. Nutcracker tickets will be available for purchase and our boutique will be open with Nutcrackers of all kinds available for purchase.
