The Abilene Cultural Affairs Council, in partnership with the City of Abilene, the SoDA District, the Texas Commission on the Arts and H-E-B, presents a special evening titled “Oh the Places You’ll Go!” in downtown Abilene. We will be celebrating the installation of a new kinetic sculpture by Anthony Howe, new pedestrian tunnel lighting that connects the Abilene Cultural District in north downtown with the SoDA (South Downtown) District and a new 3D mural with a storybook theme. Have dinner at one of downtown’s many delicious restaurants. Enjoy live music from local school groups your favorite costumed characters from the Storybook Capital of America!
