Dr. Deborah Liles will talk about the settlement along the northwestern frontier of Texas during the 1850s. This settlement is important to understanding the need for the Butterfield stop at Smith’s Station. This talk is in conjunction with The Grace Museum’s current history exhibition, Smith’s Station on the Butterfield.
