A public celebration for the new Abilene Cultural District pillars will take place the evening of Oct. 22. Watch “Rise of the Guardians” movie outside based on the William Joyce book series at Frontier Texas. Take your photo with the Sandman and other Guardian costumed characters. Live music. Lawn games.

Funding for the project was made possible by a cultural district grant from the Texas Commission on the Arts and private donations.
