The Civic Orchestra of Abilene begins its 2023-2024 season “Celebrating Artists” with our first concert featuring Benjamin Fairfield performing Haydn’s “Trumpet Concerto.” Benjamin is principal trumpet of the Abilene Philharmonic Orchestra, and co-principal of the West Texas Symphony Orchestra. Other works on the program include “Flight to Neverland” from Hook by John Williams, and George Gershwin’s An American in Paris. Join us at the Boone Family Theater at Abilene Christian University, Tuesday October 24, 7:30 p.m. for this wonderful concert. Admission is free.
