This Rodgers and Hammerstein musical follows the romance of a charming carousel barker and a pretty worker from a nearby mill. When the attractive young couple gets married, they also both find themselves unemployed, which puts a strain on their relationship. When he finds out that his wife is pregnant, he resorts to extreme measures to get money, a decision that leads to tragedy, but followed by redemption.
***To better understand the themes of Carousel and what Noah Project does for our community, we are providing special Talk Back Performances with Noah Project Councilors August 6th and 7th immediately following the show.***
