You’re invited to a fun night of billiards and barrels on Feb. 5 at 5 pm at the Elks Arts Center. This event will pay tribute to our friend Curtis Robertson, who planned to perform his world-class, award-winning artistic billiards display at our event last year when we were asked to cancel all gatherings. Curtis passed away before he could amaze us with a demonstration of his talents. In his honor, world champion billiards artists will come to pay tribute to his incredible abilities. Tom “Doctor Cue” Rossman, Doctor of Billiardology and ESPN trick shot champion, will present some of his artistic shots that won him world masters ratings as one of the best to work a billiard table. It will be a night of fun and festivities with heavy hors d’oeuvres, great drinks, pool demonstrations and much more to celebrate the 45-year legacy of APL and honor an Abilenian who left us too soon.
