Aimed at the homeschooling community in the Abilene area, Art Smarts is a great program designed for tweens and teens with an interest in the arts at your Main Library. For this month, we’ll be learning all about Vincent van Gogh, a Dutch painter most known for his post-impressionist art that made him among the most famous and influential figures in the history of Western art. Through his techniques, we’ll make our own still life paintings with poinsettias as our subject. We’ll supply all the materials and instruction you’ll need, just come out ready to get artsy with this unique STEAM activity celebrating the arts!
