Aimed at the homeschooling community in the Abilene area, Art Smarts is a great program designed for tweens and teens with an interest in the arts. Attend this second session of the month at your Mockingbird Branch where we’ll be learning about the noted artist Andy Warhol, who was a leading figure in the pop art movement and considered one of the most important artists of the 20th century. After we learn a bit about the artist and his techniques, we’ll get hands on with creating our own Pop Art Prints. All materials will be supplied, you just come out ready to create some art in this fun STEAM activity.
