Aimed at the homeschooling community in the Abilene area, Art Smarts is a great program designed for tweens and teens with an interest in the arts. Attend this second session of the month at your Mockingbird Branch location where we’ll be learning about noted artist Pablo Picasso. The Spanish painter was one of the most influential artists of the 20th century, known for co-founding the Cubist movement, the invention of constructed sculpture, the co-invention of collage, and much more. Learn a bit about his style and technique and then use it to make your own pieced together project in this style. All materials will be supplied, you just come out ready to create some art in this fun STEAM activity.
