Abilene Christian University Theatre presents “American Son,” which takes place at a Florida police station in the middle of the night, where a mother is engaged in a search for her missing teenage son. Soon her husband appears, and the evening spirals out of control.

"We are beyond excited to present a racial justice play in the Convention Center," Dawne Meeks, ACU Theatre, told the Abilene Reporter-News of the collaborative project between ACU theater and the Carl Spain Center for Racial Reconciliation and Spiritual Development.

The show is at Abilene Convention Center and open to the public for one night performance on Friday, Nov. 20. Tickets are $18 general admission.
